Hicare has virtually no permanent donors for continuously supporting its programmes. On approach some agencies sometimes come with help on a particular issue. The British & the Canadian High Commissions, the British Council, the British Women Voluntary Association helped Hicare
Society at the initial stage to establish Hicare school & centres. Services of Ms. Monica J. Tomlin, Sandra Worthington, Sandra Poston and C.J. Ross of UK were also obtained during initial stage of establishment for training, guidance & policy making.
Rotary Club of Metropolitan Dhaka, the Dutch Bangla Bank Foundation, Ashfaque Nazma Foundation & Inner Wheel Club of Metro. Dhaka occasionally extend hands for financial help. |

Presently Stichting Liliane Funds, The Netherlands have started granting fund for benefit and education of Deaf & Hearing Impaired students of Hicare schools which is not sufficient to cover the needy students. Conscious citizens of the society sometimes come forward with donation, zakat, charity during religious festivals, National Disabled Foundation of Ministry of Social Services, GoB yearly grants lumpsum fund for Hicare, Funds thus received are distributed to all Hicare schools according to the guidelines given by the Executive Committee of Hicare Society.
The poor and needy students (about 40% of total
intake) can not purchase hearing aids whose cost
varies from taka 5,000.00 to 12,000.00 inclusive
of the price of batteries, cords etc. Even they
can not afford to meet the transportation cost
for regularly attending the school. These hamper
their education. Help is needed for these poor
needy disabled children to break the barrier of
silence and their subsequent rehabilitation in
